Postdoc positions available

We are seeking postdoctoral associates to do research in the area of rendering and material appearance. One position will focus on the development of a hyperspectral software/data ecosystem. This position will require strong software engineering skills, experience in open-source projects, and ability to coordinate with an interdisciplinary team including researchers from medicine, remote sensing, wildlife management, and cultural heritage documentation and analysis. Two positions will focus on material appearance, particularly human faces, apparel, and accessories.

Yale Graphics Fall Conference Keynotes

Professor Rushmeier will be giving two conference keynote presentations highlighting recent work by the Yale Graphics Group. On October 4th at the ISVC 2021 conference (https://www.isvc.net/) she will present "Design Tools for Material Appearance." On November 4th at the Eurographics Workshop on Graphics and Cultural Heritage (https://gch2021.bournemouth.ac.uk/) she will present "Tools for Making Sense of Cultural Heritage Data."

MAM 2020, the 8th annual Workshop on Material Appearance Modeling, will be held virtually (i.e. via electronic platforms rather than physically) June 29, 2020 just prior to EGSR 2020. Join in the SIGGRAPH workshop on content generation!
