Greetings! |
I'm a fifth-year PhD student in the Dept. of Computer Science at Yale University. My advisor is Prof. Julie Dorsey. My office is located in the Yale Graphics Lab, on the 4th floor of Watson Hall.
Before coming to Yale, I was an undergraduate at Duke University, where I double-majored in Math and Computer Science, and minored in Economics. Having gone to Duke, I am (unsurprisingly) an avid follower of their basketball team.
Prior to moving to the US, I lived in Poland (9 years), Switzerland (1 year) and Canada (8 years), in reverse chronological order. Despite the frequent moves, I definitely consider Poland to be my home.

Research Interests |
My research interests primarily lie in the fields of sketch-based modeling, procedural modeling, UI design and visualization techniques, and image processing.
|
Research Focus |
Currently, I am working on developing a sketch-based modeling system for conceptual design. Specifically, I am working on developing tools for "in-context" design, i.e. tools to acquire, process, recreate, and display surrounding site context in a lightweight manner.
Along with my advisor, I am currently collaborating on this project with Prof. Holly Rushmeier and Dr. Min H. Kim. Please visit our project page for more information.
